Kotka is a 5th generation pup at our kennel from a lineage that can trace back to the very beginning. This is a lineage that is traceable longer than the entire history of the German Shepard breed has been in existence. This is the oldest known lineage of the Norwegian Elkhound.

Kotka is a Rock Star daughter of the incredible Rita and Pretty Boy Leif. Rita of course as many of you know carries the bloodline of the Finnish born Karu. This is the only time this bloodline has left the old country.
