Mjrn and Linnie, two of the very best young Full Blood Elkhounds in the world are out training with me in the Northern Alberta region off leash.

We are doing the early off leash, recall and Desna training with these two and I am seriously impressed with the recall and ability of these two to set their range very close instinctively. These two young pups illustrate in the video instinctive skill passed down for centuries. They clearly show the willingness to work with the handler and to recall and stay attentive.

Watch how good they are at circling around without any interaction on my part, it’s all instinctive, this is a key trait that makes for the best remote terrain Elkhounds. Kamia Kennels has for decades now raised the very best remote terrain Elkhounds and these Fullbloods are exceptional.

Both of these two females are Preservation bloodlines and I am so proud of the abilities at such a young age. The mother is my old sidekick Karia, you can recall that she too was super focused and always paying attention as a young pup and grew to be one of the best off leash Elkhounds in the world.

As you all know, Ark is the premier big Swedish Elkhound stud dog at Kamia Kennels and he is the father of these stunning females.
