Introduction
The Jamthund Return Program is the formal restoration pathway for the Swedish hunting architecture inside the Kamia Kennels lineage system. This program brings forward the original bear‑line working mind, terrain‑adaptive intelligence, and deep genetic architecture of the Swedish Jamthund, and integrates it into the modern Full Blood Restoration.
The Jamthund Return is built on two maternal pillars, four male pillars, and a multi‑generation behavioral transmission system that traces back to the earliest Nordic hunting lines. This article outlines the full structure of the Return Program, the lineage architecture, and the modern expression of the Jamthund inside the Kamia system.

Historical Jamthund Architecture
The Swedish Jamthund is one of the most terrain‑adaptive hunting dogs ever developed. Originating in the northern bear‑country of Sweden, the Jamthund was bred for:
- Large‑game tracking
- Territorial intelligence
- Silent approach
- High‑tendon endurance
- Cold‑weather stamina
- Independent decision‑making
- Deep situational awareness
This architecture is distinct from the Norwegian Elkhound, though compatible. The Jamthund carries a broader territorial map, a deeper bear‑sense, and a more independent working mind. These traits form the foundation of the Jamthund Return Program.

Maternal Return Track — Aina → Ark → ARCO → Full Bloods
Aina — The First Foundation Female
Aina is the cornerstone of the Jamthund Return. Imported from Sweden, she carried the full bear‑line architecture, the deep working mind, and the terrain‑adaptive intelligence that defines the Jamthund. Her influence is unmatched.
Ark — The First Jamthund Born in Canada
Ark is the son of Aina and Rico. Raised inside the Kamia Old Dog Pack, mentored by Takoda, MANE, and Teeko, Ark carries the complete Jamthund architecture. He is the central male of the Jamthund Return.
ARCO — The Modern Consolidator
ARCO, son of Ark × Varella, is the strongest modern Jamthund-return male. He carries both Aina and Varella architecture, and he is the sire of multiple Full Bloods, including the Montana foundation female Nesse.
Full Blood Integration
The maternal Aina → Ark → ARCO line flows directly into the Full Blood Restoration through:
- Torin
- Karia sons and daughters
- ARCO × Vaeda Full Blood litter
- Revna × Ark Full Blood litter (9 pups, Montana)
- ARCO daughter Nesse (Montana foundation)
This creates the first true Jamthund‑rooted Full Blood architecture in North America.

Maternal Return Track — Varella → Aurella → Hada / Vada
Varella — The Second Foundation Female
Varella is the second Swedish Jamthund import. Unrelated to Aina, she provides genetic diversity and a parallel Jamthund-return maternal pillar.

Aurella — The Dual‑Architecture Daughter
Aurella, daughter of Ark × Varella, carries both Aina and Varella architecture. She is one of the strongest Jamthund-return females ever produced.
Modern Expression
Aurella’s daughters — Hada, Vada, and others — represent the modern Jamthund-return maternal line. These females carry the dual architecture and will continue the Return Program for decades.

Paternal Return Track — Rico → Ark → ARCO → Full Blood Males
Rico — The Finnish Hunting-Line Foundation
Rico is the original male foundation of the Jamthund Return. Raised by Satu, he carries elite Finnish hunting architecture and is the father of Ark.

Ark — The Central Male
Ark is the male anchor of the Jamthund Return. His influence spans:
- ARCO
- Aurella
- Torin
- Karia sons and daughters
- Revna × Ark Full Blood litter
- Multiple Jamthund-return daughters

Ark’s Brothers — Elvis, Gunnar, Magnus, etc.
These males extend the Jamthund architecture across multiple branches, ensuring depth and diversity.

ARCO — The Modern Male Consolidator
ARCO is the modern expression of the Jamthund-return male architecture. His sons and daughters form the backbone of the Full Blood Restoration.
Paternal Expansion Track — Posso → Aina / Aurella / Nyra / Nesse
Posso — The Critical Expansion Sire
Posso is the Finnish hunting-line Jamthund who now plays a pivotal role in both the Jamthund Return and the Full Blood Restoration.

Posso × Aina — The First Exceptional Litter
This litter produced males with:
- Aina’s Swedish bear‑line architecture
- Posso’s Finnish hunting-line architecture
- Ark’s mentorship influence
These males are direct Return Sires.

Posso × Aurella — Jamthund Litters
Aurella carries Aina + Varella + Ark architecture. Posso × Aurella litters are genetically ideal for the Jamthund Return. A new litter is expected in Summer 2026.

Posso × Nyra — Full Blood → Jamthund Return Pathway
Nyra = ARCO × Revna Full Blood female Carries the complete Full Blood Restoration architecture.
Posso × Nyra produces Full Blood pups that can Return to Jamthund in one generation.
Posso × Nesse — Second Full Blood → Jamthund Return Pathway
Nesse = ARCO × Vaeda Full Blood female Montana foundation.
Posso × Nesse produces Full Blood pups that also return to Jamthund in one generation.
Four Male Pillars
The Jamthund Return Program is driven by four male pillars:
- Rico
- Ark
- ARCO
- Posso
These males form the complete Jamthund-return architecture.
Behavioral Transmission — The Old Dog Architecture
The Jamthund Return is not only genetic — it is behavioral. The working mind is transmitted through mentorship:
- Takoda — Territorial intelligence
- MANE — Situational awareness
- Teeko — Silent approach and tendon endurance
Ark, ARCO, Aurella, and the Full Bloods all carry this behavioral architecture.

Modern Expression in the Full Blood Restoration
The Jamthund architecture is now fully integrated into the Full Blood Restoration through:
- Torin
- Karia sons and daughters
- ARCO × Vaeda Full Blood litter
- Revna × Ark Full Blood litter (9 pups)
- ARCO daughter Nesse
- Posso × Nyra (upcoming)
- Posso × Nesse (planned)
This creates the first true Jamthund-rooted Full Blood population in North America.

The Jamthund Return Track
The Jamthund Return Track is the formal pathway that brings Jamthund architecture forward through:
- Maternal pillars
- Male pillars
- Behavioral transmission
- Full Blood integration
- Return pathways through Posso
This track ensures the Jamthund architecture remains intact for future generations.
