However, almost all of them fail to talk seriously about the dog. No one seriously is going to experience the remote terrain in North America for any length of time with out a dog. As well not one person who is serious about this is considering anything other than a true remote terrain survival dog are they?

Nope! The Jamthund otherwise known as the Swedish Elkhound is the oldest known breed of survival dog. It’s been traveling remote terrain it’s entire existence for over 10,000 years. For me, the most important thing in all the prepping and survival and gear exploration should start with the dog. The rest is just stuff. The dog, the Jamthund that is what is really going to keep you safe and alive.
