Public Announcement — Ark × Varella Jamthund Litter (Potential)

Potential Jamthund Litter – Ark × Varella

We had a confirmed hookup between Ark and Varella, and we are watching closely for belly. If successful, this will be one of the most meaningful Jamthund litters produced at Kamia.

Ark is the first Jamthund born in North America, carrying the hunting strength of the Rico × Aina line. Varella is our second Swedish foundation female, a cornerstone of the Jamthund Return Program.

This pairing has produced multiple litters in the past. From the first pairing, we retained Aurella, who is now a leading Jamthund female in our third‑generation program. A subsequent pairing produced ARCO, one of the strongest Jamthund-return males in the modern era.

If confirmed, this upcoming litter will be Varella’s final litter, completing her contribution to the Jamthund Return architecture.

Varella is babysitting her new grandpups from Aurella and Posso

All pups from this litter will be retained inside the Kamia breeding program. There will be no companion placements for this litter.

We are inviting inquiries from Long Term Stewards who understand the significance of the Jamthund Return and are committed to multi‑year stewardship, lineage preservation, and program continuity.

If you believe you align with the long-term vision of the Kamia Restoration Program, you are welcome to reach out.

Dan and Dorothy had been managing Varella up at their location prior to the mating and they Love Ella. They have everything all set for her return up there after the litter. Dan was in the process of building a new shelter kennel area when she cycled, so he’ll have that done by the time she returns. They have tons of space of course up there, and Torin he will keep her company.

Many Thanks to Dan and Dorothy for the great work they were doing and will do with Varella.
