The beautiful Silver Nessa is in the whelping pen and will soon have some incredible Norwegian Elkhound puppies. These are going to be born at Michael and Sarah’s up in the Rochester Alberta region north of Edmonton.

The whelping and training facility is incredible and she is all set to have a successful and easy whelping. Silver Nessa is a solid easy going female, she has some of our very best pups. This is going to be 4th generation pups in our program. Silver Nessa is a Grand Daughter of the famous Mia.

We are excited to get this litter as we are planning to hold back a matched pair of Norwegian Elkhounds for preservation from this particular litter. Michael and Sarah will be picking out two of the spectacular pups to carry this lineage on into the future.

The folks on the list for pups from the litter are going to have some of the very best Norwegian Elkhounds ever. The combination of genetics from Silver Nessa and Karu is one of the best ever. These are old world lines and very diverse. The hunt and hike capability of the background of these two is legendary.

Silver Nessa has of course the incredible Jaegar and Silver Nova as her parents. What a combination of power, capability and beauty.

We are excited about this litter, next few days are very exciting times, Silver Nessa whelping in Canada and Michael just day before yesterday took Rita to whelp in Montana.

So two incredible litters coming within a few days, week of each other. Rita is a Karu daughter so pups very close coming in both countries. The potential for both Canada and USA folks to get one of the best Norwegian Elkhound pups in the world could not better.
