Posso is one of the Finnish Imports that came over to Kamia Kennels as a foundation sire for the Jamthund genetic pool. He is an incredible Swedish Elkhound Male and his ancestors are from the founding lines so he is classed as a Jamthund.

He has had incredible litters with Aina and Aurella already and we are planning another litter with Aurella this summer. We have not decided if we will use Posso on Varella, or Ark, but either way Posso will eventually have a litter with Varella.

Posso is ultra friendly, a very happy fella and is super easy go to be around. Listens very well, responds always in seconds and if I call him from a long ways out, he comes at a full run, always. His recall response is super fast. He really works to be responsive to me.

Posso is a big fella, very long and tall, fast moving and he is dark. An extremely handsome male with the stark contrast in his dark color to his ultra white. The White on the Jamthunds is always super white. Posso has the Ultra Black in his coat, phenomenal looking big fella.

He has found one of the deer heads in these photos and has been packing it around and I was able to get a few great photos of him. He is usually moving so fast it’s hard to get any photos.

These big males like Posso are full hunting lineages. He has all Champion hunting dogs in his background and his boys are already hunting from his litters. He passes full instincts down with ease, he is an exceptional Jamthund male for preservation work because of his depth of genetic excellence.

One of the incredible daughters Posso had with Aurella is a stunning beauty as well. The Jamthund Vada is out in Saskatchewan with Lindsay. She is loved and gets to hike each day with her buddy Rhune.
