Torin is a preservation Full Blood Elkhound male that I placed with Dorothy and Dan and he is magnificent. You’ll remember the article from some time ago, Dorothy and Dan had one of my earlier males for 16 years before Torin.

Torin is a son of Ark and Karia. This is the first litter of Full Bloods that was raised and he is such a display of excellence it’s so amazing to see him develop and grow. What a tremendous companion Dan and Dorothy have in this magnificent Elkhound male.

They are excellent handlers of course and he fits the lifestyle perfectly. Dorothy had sent some earlier photos, I’ll include them, but the most recent are of Torin at the new home. Congratulations to Dorothy and Dan by the way, awesome place. 10 Acres, Torin loves it Dorothy said, uses it all too, haha!

These are the absolute best family and companion Elkhounds, they love the outdoors but sure don’t mind sitting by the fire after a fun day out in the Alberta winter too.

We have just placed another litter of these Full Bloods with families across North America from Ark and Karia. I am currently finishing up the Desna training with Mjrn, a stunning beauty, full sister to Torin, just different litter. I talk a bit about her training, how to set up these Full Blood pups at home and you might enjoy it.

The big Full Bloods are restoration Elkhounds. They are bred to create new ancient genetic Elkhounds for preservation and restoration of the gene pools. Torin is a shining example of how great these Elkhounds are.
