Montana is full of Norwegian Elkhound puppies at Linda and Darrell’s, co-breeders of Kamia Kennels. Rita has her new litter of 11 Norwegian Elkhound pups getting fat already.

Michael was able to get Rita down to Montana and coordinate with Linda so the whelping and the litter would be raised in Montana and that way the USA folks could get a chance to get a wonderful pup from Kamia Kennels at 8 weeks of age.

In Canada there are restrictions on getting a pup across to USA until they are 24 weeks old, but we are able through our co-breeder program to have the litter in the USA. This is monumental and we Thank both Linda and Darrell as we as Sarah and Michael for the great effort to make this happen.

What a Litter! Wow!

Rita is a daughter of Kai and is a fourth generation female Norwegian Elkhound in our program who hails out of the most prolific and oldest known genetic lines of Norwegian Elkhounds in the world. This lineage is old with records to the beginning of the Associations.

It’s extremely fertile and with the introduction of Karu into the bloodline mating with Kai to produce Rita we have a very instinct rich and profound heritage in these fifth generation pups.
