Today I was in the pen with Ark, Varella, Aurella, and the Aurella × Posso pups, and what unfolded around me is exactly why my program produces the most stable, intelligent, cohesive Elkhounds anywhere. This wasn’t a hike, it wasn’t a field session, it wasn’t a training moment — it was just all of us together in the pen. And yet the instinct signatures were as strong as anything I see out in terrain.
I couldn’t move a foot without every single dog staying right with me. Ark, Varella, Aurella, and all the pups were literally touching me the entire time. No drift, no wandering, no splitting off. Just total pack cohesion.
This is the multi‑generation stability I work for.
The Grandparents – Ark and Varella
Ark and Varella are the grandparents to these pups, and the presence they bring into a pen is incredible. Ark has that calm Jamthund mentoring signature — he doesn’t push, he doesn’t dominate, he simply anchors the space. Varella brings the maternal steadiness that has defined the Jamthund foundation females since the day she arrived. Together, they create a stability field that the pups lock onto immediately.
Aurella – The Third‑Generation Jamthund Female
Aurella is right there with them, and she’s operating exactly as I expect from a daughter of Ark and Varella. Calm, steady, intelligent, and completely tuned to me. She’s showing her pups how to behave around me without doing anything overt — just by existing correctly. This is the modeling behavior that makes Kamia pups so advanced before they ever leave.
The Pups – Modeling the Adults
The pups are incredible. They’re not wandering, not exploring away from me, not scattering. They’re watching the adults, copying the adults, and staying glued to me because the adults are glued to me. This is exactly how I build terrain intelligence and pack cohesion — it starts right here, in moments like this.
When pups model adults like Ark, Varella, and Aurella, they learn:
- handler focus
- calm operating system
- pack positioning
- social intelligence
- stability
- correct instinct
This is why my pups go into stewardship homes already ahead of anything you can find elsewhere.
Zero Drift – The Kamia Signature
I couldn’t even shift my weight without the entire group staying with me. This is zero drift — the highest level of pack cohesion. Most breeders never see this. Their pups scatter, wander, lose focus, or drift away. Mine don’t. Mine stay with me because the adults stay with me, and the adults stay with me because of the genetic architecture I’ve built over decades.
A Perfect Pack Moment
This wasn’t a staged video. It wasn’t a training session. It was just me in the pen with Ark, Varella, Aurella, and the pups — and yet it showed everything that makes my program what it is:
- multi‑generation stability
- Jamthund intelligence
- Finnish correctness
- Norrland calm
- maternal and paternal mentoring
- pack cohesion
- modeling behavior
- zero drift
These pups are going to be phenomenal. They’re already showing the signatures I look for, and they’re learning from three of the best dogs I’ve ever had the privilege to work with.
This is Kamia.
