Here is the stunning Mjrn, a Full Blood Elkhound female pup I am working in the Desna training program here at Kamia Kennels. She is truly amazing, her beauty is incredible for such a young pup, her instinctive skill is off the charts, her nature is so personable and gracious it’s like a many year old female. All this from a very young Elkhound.

Check out her ears now, haha! No one is pushing her around anymore. This is a solid powerhouse rascal. Talk about a beauty!

These Full Blood Elkhounds have intense awareness and spark quick, they are super sharp. Nothing gets by them. I find them really aware and great “Watch and Alert” pups, literally as good as big dogs, fearless instinctive machines. Having these instincts show up so early, so full is such a great thing for the destiny of the breed. These are the “New Foundation Elkhound” quite literally getting the breed back on solid ground, so to have them so full and rich with instinctive skill, beauty, and total function, Awesome!

Anyone wanting to hike in remote terrain and have a really suitable companion Elkhound for watching your back while working remote terrain, this is the strain. These girls are stout, full power showing up in spades. Lots of incredible handler focus just shining out. This is a very nice lineage, super friendly to the handler, yet, raises Cain on something out she finds. So fun to see.

A flawless fullblood elkhound female is truly an incredible dog for a family. She can be so gentle and kind to the handlers yet work like you would not believe. Solid, instinct rich, powerful, a phenomenal representation of the All You Can Be Elkhound!
