Back 10,000 years at minimum her history circulates through the rugged regions of Scandinavia and up along the Siberian range of the North Russia territory. This is a historically rich genetic with some of the ancestors of Isla the most famous of the Nordic region Elkhounds.
Isla is one of the very few Nordic region bloodline pups that carry the famed Nordic Champion Swedish Elkhound blood. One of only a handful of females in Canada are true fullblood heritage from Nordic Champion ancestors.
Isla has been training and honing her skills as a phenomenal off leash hiking and companion dog, hunting and working with the handler are her attributes and she is magnificent. Michael and Sarah have been working with her and she is ready to go to her new home.
Only two locations, One Kennel, the Kamia Kennels system, co-breeders and founder Merv Carlson do the famed Desna training. Michael and Sarah, co-breeders at Kamia Kennels are providing folks with the Desna training on select pups of the highest quality. Careful selection goes into every mating and then selections of the pups are considered so as they begin training we are working with exceptional Elkhounds.
Isla has completed all her series of vaccinations and Rabies and is complete now for life. Her Desna work is exceptional and she is a highly skilled female.
