Golden Ring Elkhounds are legendary and the famous Takoda / Tekla Ten are the very best representations of preserving this genetic worldwide. I have an old photo of this amazing litter of foundation Elkhounds having a snooze, dreaming of successful hunts and amazing hikes to come. It was a glorious time having this litter and we prize the multiple dogs we still have in our breeding program from this litter as well as offspring from these pups. Yesterday I featured one of those spectacular offspring, Revna, daughter of Luna. Golden Ring Elkhounds are the most sought after of all the Norwegian Elkhound lineages for their remarkable handler focus and abilities.

Currently Rita has a litter of them on the ground now, she is a direct descendant of this great heritage line and her sibling sister by another mother Aspen will soon have Golden Ring Elkhounds on the ground as well.
