For centuries the Jämthund, or Swedish Elkhound as they are more commonly known have been one of the very best family dogs. The abilities of the dog to bond with the handler is proven over 10,000 years.
I have had the sincere pleasure of raising these great dogs in North America and as North America’s only breeder of them, as well as the only Preservation breeder of the great Swedish Elkhounds.
